About the Founder
As a Certified Early Childhood Music Educator and dedicated mother, Ms. Rachel Kong brings a unique blend of artistic passion and professional excellence to LohaSmart. Beginning her musical journey at age 4, Rachel has developed deep expertise in piano, vocal performance, music theory, and composition. Her talent has earned her championships in multiple public competitions, and she has been invited as a featured vocalist at annual dinner events.
Rachel's musical versatility shines through her experience as a pianist for Hong Kong government projects, church services, and choirs. Beyond her musical accomplishments, she brings valuable professional insight as an experienced tax advisor in Hong Kong, combining analytical precision with creative teaching methods.
Deeply committed to community service, Rachel has received Hong Kong's highest service hour award, reflecting her dedication to giving back. Her exceptional storytelling skills—honed through years of performance and teaching—make her classes engaging and memorable for both children and parents.
Now as a mother herself, Rachel understands firsthand the critical importance of parent-child bonding and early childhood development. She believes that age-appropriate games and musical activities are essential for children's brain development and holistic growth. Through LohaSmart, Rachel channels her combined background in music education, professional expertise, storytelling ability, and parenting experience to nurture the next generation with care, creativity, and evidence-based teaching methods.
